Tesla & Cybertruck Wrap in Bensenville, IL

Tesla Wrap Specialists

Tesla vehicles wrap differently than almost any other car on the road, and that gap in difficulty is exactly why the installer you choose matters. The sloped roofline of the Model 3 and Model Y, the large uninterrupted panels of the Model S, and the camera and sensor cutouts on every Tesla require a level of precision that a generalist shop simply isn't trained for. At The Wrench Shack in Bensenville, Tesla wraps are one of our most completed builds. Our installers work with 3M 2080, Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film, and KPMF cast vinyl — three of the most respected films in the industry — in every color and finish available: gloss, matte, satin, metallic, brushed, color-shift, and carbon fiber. Every install starts at $2,599 and is backed by our 3-year shop labor warranty.

Cybertruck Wrap

The Cybertruck presents a completely different set of challenges. Its angular stainless steel body panels don't respond to vinyl the way painted surfaces do, and the geometric body lines require exact cutting and placement that leaves no margin for error. We've developed a specific installation process for the Cybertruck — panel-by-panel heat forming, precision edge work on every sharp corner, and a thorough adhesion protocol on the raw steel surface — that produces a clean, professional result that holds. Whether you want a full matte black transformation, a deep gloss color, a color-shift iridescent finish, or a two-tone custom build, we have the film and the hands to execute it. The Cybertruck is a statement vehicle and the wrap should match that energy — our installs do.

Film Options & Colors

We stock 3M 2080, Avery Dennison Supreme, and KPMF across hundreds of shades and finishes, which means you're not choosing from a limited catalog — you're choosing from virtually any color imaginable. Gloss black, satin white, matte army green, brushed steel, deep sea blue, champagne gold, color-shift purple-to-teal — if it exists in cast vinyl, we can get it and install it. KPMF's iridescent and color-shift films in particular are among the most visually striking finishes available and pair exceptionally well with the Tesla body design. All films we use are true cast vinyl, engineered to conform to compound curves without lifting, shrinking, or developing stress wrinkles over time. Every color change is fully reversible — when you sell the car or want a new look, the factory paint underneath comes off in the same condition it went in.

Our Process & What Makes It Different

Every Tesla and Cybertruck that comes into our Bensenville shop goes through the same methodical process. We start with a full surface decontamination — any contamination under the film shows through and compromises adhesion. Door handles, mirror caps, and trim pieces are removed before the film goes on, not worked around, which is what gives our installs their seamless, factory finish. Camera housings, Autopilot sensors, and FSD hardware are protected throughout — no blades near electronics, no shortcuts around sensor cutouts. The film is installed panel by panel with heat forming on every curve, then post-heated and edge-sealed before the car leaves the bay. The result cures in our controlled shop environment for 24 hours before delivery. This process is why our installs last 5 to 7 years without lifting and why clients drive from Chicago, Schaumburg, Naperville, and Elk Grove Village to have their Teslas done here rather than closer to home.

FAQ

How much does a Tesla wrap cost at The Wrench Shack?
Tesla wraps start at $2,599. Final price depends on the model (Model 3, Y, S, X, or Cybertruck), the film brand and finish, and whether you want full or partial coverage. Call (630) 755-0207 for a same-day quote.

Can you wrap a Cybertruck?
Yes. We have a dedicated process for Cybertruck installs that accounts for the stainless steel surface and sharp geometric body lines. We wrap Cybertrucks in any color or finish using 3M, Avery Dennison, or KPMF cast vinyl.

What colors and finishes are available for Tesla wraps?
Any color, any finish. We stock 3M 2080, Avery Dennison Supreme, and KPMF across gloss, matte, satin, metallic, brushed, color-shift, and carbon fiber. If you have a specific shade in mind, we can source it.

Will the wrap damage my Tesla's paint?
No. When professionally installed and removed, vinyl wrap leaves your factory paint in the same or better condition than before. Wrapped panels are protected daily from UV fading, road salt, and surface abrasion.

Are Tesla cameras and sensors safe during installation?
Yes. We never use blades near Autopilot cameras, FSD hardware, or sensors. All cutouts are made precisely using digital templates specific to your Tesla's model year.

How long does a Tesla wrap take?
Most full Tesla wraps are completed in 3–5 business days. Cybertruck installs may take slightly longer depending on the complexity of the design. We'll confirm the timeline when you book.
