At Car Wrap Naperville, we stand behind the quality of our work and the premium materials we use. Below is a clear overview of our warranty and important guidelines.
Vinyl Wrap Warranty
Gloss Vinyl Wraps (3M, Avery Dennison, CheetahWrap, TinyBot, Hex, Rayno): Up to 3 years (brand-dependent).
Matte or Satin Wraps: 1 year warranty.
Printed/Custom Wraps: Warranty varies by design, color, and film type.
Paint Protection Film (PPF) Warranty
Installed with FlexiShield, XPEL, and other premium films.
Gloss, Matte, or Color PPF: Up to 10 years (manufacturer + installation).
Self-Healing: Minor scratches may self-heal; deep scratches, rock chips, or key marks are not covered.
Important Conditions & Exclusions
Paint Condition
Wraps/PPF do not cover pre-existing paint defects (peeling, chips, rust, oxidation).
Weak or improperly repainted surfaces may be damaged during removal.
Weather & Environment
Illinois sun, road salt, and cold weather may affect longevity.
Regular maintenance is essential.
Car Wash & Maintenance
Use hand wash with pH-neutral soap.
Avoid brush-style drive-thru washes, harsh chemicals, pressure washers on edges, and abrasive scrubbing.
Surface Protection
Ceramic coating is recommended for UV, chemical, and stain resistance.
Cheap waxes or sealants may damage the film.
Buffing & Restoration
Gloss wraps can be lightly polished.
Matte/satin wraps cannot be buffed without altering appearance.
Damage Exclusions
Not covered: rock chips, accidents, vandalism, key scratches, deep gouges, improper cleaning, or neglect.
Removal Policy
Wraps/PPF can be removed safely.
Hot weather helps ease removal, but some adhesive residue may remain.
Recommendations for Longevity
Full Front PPF: Protects against rock chips and front-end damage.
Ceramic Coating: Enhances durability and simplifies maintenance.
Final Disclaimer
Our warranty covers manufacturer defects and installation workmanship within the specified periods. Longevity depends on maintenance, driving conditions, and weather exposure. Car Wrap Naperville is not liable for paint damage from pre-existing conditions, neglect, or misuse after installation.
