Headlight Service Intel (FAQ)
1. Is this different than regular window tint? Absolutely. We use Paint Protection Film (PPF) specifically engineered for lights. It is significantly thicker than window tint, meaning it actually protects the plastic from cracking rather than just changing the color.
2. Will my night vision decrease? Our 50% film is designed to be nearly imperceptible to the driver’s eye at night. The 20% film is darker, but because it is an optically clear polyester, it allows much better light transmission than cheap "smoke" sprays.
3. Can you save headlights that are already yellow? If your lights are already oxidized, we can perform a restoration service to clear them up before applying the PPF to lock in that clarity forever.
4. How does the 10-year warranty work? If the film yellows, bubbles, or fails due to a manufacturer defect, we replace it. Period. We use professional-grade materials built for the Illinois climate.
5. How do I maintain the film? Treat it like your paint. Wash it regularly and apply a ceramic spray wax occasionally. Avoid hitting the edges directly with a high-pressure power washer.
6. Do you tint taillights and reflectors too? Yes. We offer full-vehicle light packages including taillights, third brake lights, and side markers for a cohesive, custom look.
